It improves a major facet of the game and that’s cool. Like many other mods from Immibis, this one focuses on giving the player more options rather than a ton of new content. These too can be cut in half, either vertically or horizontally, to make itty bitty eighth blocks that are actually great for crafting retaining walls and other popular garden features. Whole blocks can be cut in half, then each of those halves can be halved again, leading to four quarter blocks. Once you’ve crafted a hacksaw item to start cutting up your blocks, many common staples throughout Minecraft can be cut down into smaller sizes. These are half and quarter blocks that fit into a surprisingly wide number of applications. The Immibis Microblocks mod just makes construction more interesting by adding a variety of microblocks. When you get right down to it, Minecraft is all about the blocks – construction, building, redstone circuits and more. But people don’t make Youtube videos showcasing their collections of rotten flesh from all the zombies they’ve killed. There’s mining, farming, hunting animals and monsters and all of that, and that stuff is plenty of fun.
Minecraft is essentially a game about blocks.
